Morning??? I think I almost have the desktop building down.

I'm loading my own wall paper to get an idea of what size images I need. When I reboot I see paper I didn't want in back of what I loaded.

If I delete a desktop from Theme Manager, will that empty (C:, Owner,Documents & Settings, Local Settings, Aplication Data, DesktopX, Current Theme ???) I'm seeing image files for more then 1 desktop in there.

How much Aplication Data can I get rid of to start over, or should I just stay out of there?

I load a wall paper image, then the objects don't quite fit, and I need to start over. What is the best way to get rid of all the files I did't want. I'm thinking they'er building up all over my comp.

The "Tips for new users" thread is getting close to 200 replies, so I snuck in here. I've saved my first desk top, re-loaded it, & re-booted just fine. This one is with Win.XP, & the beta DX. (Windows SP2 was removed some time ago).

If this desk top crashes, what's the first thing I should look at. The crash makes even the error window is blanked out. I end up with parts of a few objects on a blank Desk top, (a pointer but no clicks). I use a 2.8GHz processor, with about 1GB of RAM.

hi people.. i also need help... i have windowblinds and i have downloaded some skins.. i activate them and all is fine.. except the start menu! its like the normal booring standard windows.. can someone please tell me how to change it to some cool stuff??i beg u! thanks to all responses

sengblom89, do you have win 2000 or lower?
if you do, it will not do anything to the start panel, or you may have the classic start menu activated.
if not...
