With apologies to Gideon, who I'm fairly sure is smart enough to recognize the satire here, but is also one that has helped repeatedly point out the stupidity of getting the laws that we sometimes demand, or at least getting stupid laws from the politicians we keep electing, I have a few words to say here:
I DEMAND A LAW
Reading a stupid statement in the article referenced in this recent article Ill. Lawmakers Vote to ban violent Vid-Game Sales to minors, I realized when I read the following statement that I could and should demand a law:
But supporters insisted the government has a duty to help parents shield children from violence and sexuality. "Don't let them become the monsters that we see in these violent games," {Illinois} Democratic Rep. Monique Davis said.
Ah, you don't see it?! You don't see what the problem is, and why there needs to be a law?!
I DEMAND A LAW THAT OUTLAWS ALL LIBERALS AND LIBERALISM.
Liberals and liberalism are harming this country, and ruining our kids, and because of that, I demand that the government step in and do it's duty. It must help to protect our kids, and therefore, I demand that liberalism be outlawed by the government so that I don't have to worry about watching my children 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, correcting the wrongheaded liberal teachings that my children are exposed to.
Outlaw it. Use the weapons of the liberals against themselves and defang them already.
Yup, there oughtta be a law, and I'm gonna demand it.
