When

does the development team have an exact date and even time for beta 2 or should we just check back in everyday?

Straight off the front page: "Beta 2 will be available to those woh have pre-ordered the game in about two weeks." -Frogboy, May 20.

Soon, my friends. Soon.

I see the statement dated May 1 by frogboy (Brad Wardell) that the second beta was to be released right after we get back from E3. That would have been Monday May 24. So why are we having to wait an additional two weeks??? I find accuracy in
statements to be important in keeping credibility.

It'll be soon. The team is hard at work so that we can get everything we need tested into beta 2. Unfortunately we fell a bit behind as May's been a really busy month with E3, ITChannelVision, etc.

So when is the anticipated arrival time of the "May" beta? Perhaps it should be renamed the to the June beta.

When rhe cat's away, the mice do play. Perhaps beta development slowed down when Brad was out of town. A more
"relaxed" environment at Stardock?

I've "been there" on a visit, and I don't know how more relaxed it could get. These guys and gals really do love the work they do. Slow down when the "cat's away"? Not a chance.

We don't slack off because Brad isn't here.  Do you think that Brad sits here and watches us code to make sure that we're working hard enough?

Secondly, this beta is NOT for the purpose of letting you guys get a sneak peek at the game. We will release the next beta build when we are ready.

Are you saying that Brad isn't a slave master and that you dont all code to the beat of a drum? I thought your offices were laid out in the shape of an ancient slave galley, all desks lined up to face brad's desk at the end, where he beats a drum and shouts "code!...2....3.....code!....2.....3....". I loved that image

That sounds like a Drengin coding shack!
