Aquarium Desktop CPU Hog

Unlike the Screen Shot on the Aquarium Desktop page showing 00% CPU when the desktop is covered, mine runs at 89-93% ALL the time, even when another application is open and covering the entire screen.
My ABOUT page says I'm runnig version 1.00. Is that the latest one available (Search for Application Updates doesn't show a newer version available).
It's a nice desktop, nice features, but I sure wish it would become more "smart desktop" like in the way it works.
I'm runnign XP-Pro on a PIII 850, with 512 meg of ram installed.
