"I'll take 'Grasping at Straws' for $200, Alex...."

Media's Left-wing bias gets in it a little "Jeopardy!"

Alex Trebeck: "That's a Daily Double! Here's the answer: 'Newsweek and Dan Rather'".

Rightwinger: "What are: two recent and glaring examples of liberal media bias and the fact that they'll take any wild and unsubstantiated story as gospel, so long as it involves taking a cheap shot at, or casts a shadow on the recent successes of, President Bush and/or his administration and its policies."

Alex Trebeck: "Correct for $400! Rightwinger, you control the board; next question!"

Rightwinger: "I'll take 'Left-wing Tricks' for $600, Alex."

Alex: "The answer is 'Desperation and Depression.'"

Rightie: "What is: the reason for Democrat fillibustering on Bush's Supreme Court nominees and stalling on the Bolton issue."

Alex: "Correct for $600!. Rightwinger, still in control."

Yes, we are, aren't we?

Not exactly lame; we still have four years to squash your dreams, and who knows? Maybe we'll manage to elect another Republican in 2008.
Hillary's pretty much their strongest possiblity and front runner, and she isn't exactly popular outside her own circle, you know.

What you convienently omit here is that The repubs blocked four times as many judicial nominees during bubba's presidency than the dems have.

And don't count out Bill Richardson.

I'll give you that, but how many did the Dems kick out in the Nixon, Reagan and Bush #41 administrations, when you controlled the House and Senate? Payback's a bitch, right?

Richardson? I dunno.....not a very "presidential" name, really......

funny how this works, if I use clinton as an example I get jumped on by the left because "bush" is president, but the left quickly uses clinton to make a point about bush. typical leftwing tactics, Do as I cammoand, not as I behave, great motto liberals!!!!!!

Well, not my dreams. Hopefully a third party will become viable enough to take on the other two. I'm simply hoping the Dem's are able to stall the Republicans from creating any more damage like "Tort Reform" and S.S. reform.

Democrats would be fools to run Hillary in '08. Can you say "landslide victory" for Republicans? Seriously.

I have to agree with this one. But remember it is the smaller and more radical base that chooses who gets past the primary in the Democratic party.

While Republicans base maybe radical, they are more willing realize that it will take a moderate to win and they have more viable number of them to choose from.

The Democrats on the other hand have less of a shrinking pool of moderates to choose from and the party as a whole IMO has been screaming in hatred lately to much in order to make a sane pick.

If the Democrats could just ease up and less the Republicans loose their heads in joy, they could let the Republicans get too cocky and make a major mistake. Right now the only thing the Dems are doing is showing off their worse flaws and mistakes over and over again.

That's My Two Cents

Republican Canidates in the Future:

--McCain (maybe run as Democrat)
--Schwarzenegger (if laws are changed around, would be kinda be cool as Prez., though would be hell for the "girly-men" out there...)

...can't think of any else...

BTW, have you noticed that the repubs/demi's rotate,or at least hav in the last few elections....

Mass Governor Mitt Romney
Formor Mayor Rudy Giuliani
NE-Sen. Chuck Hagel
NY Governor George Pataki
Former New Jersey Christie Tod Whitman

These are the ones I can think of real quickly.

Just out of curiosity, Lee1776, did you take this from Kent Brockman on "The Simpsons"?

Nope

It’s just an old saying that I always hear. But it's a good way of saying "These are my thoughts or opinion". Much like a disclaimer.
