Do you eat at your PC?

Boss' comments on a different thread made me think of this. I eat almost all of my meals, that I eat at home, at my PC. It's a real trick to keep crumbs out of the keyboard. Does anyone else do this?

My pc is in the liveingroom, i sit here and watch tv, do home work and yes i eat some of my meals here too if i'm not made to sit at the table like a "normal?" family man! when i'm home i sit here all day long working on skins or touching up photos for family, i have taken a lot of flack for siting here so much that i'm going to school just to have some peace and, a better job would be a great too my pc is my life and my wood working tools are collecting dust in some location i can't remember. i pay the kid next door to mow the lawn so i have more time here. i dream of haveing a servant to do the other things that drag me away from here some day. if this is some kind of problem i need help in over comeing... I DON'T WANT IT!!!

i think i have gone above and beyond the origanal question here ...part of the sickness i'm guessing

as far as crumbs in the key board ...here's a tip from my wife...push it back from under your mouth as you feed it and there's no problems with the gunk sticking the keys any more.

LoL..Every meal that I am at home to enjoy... is that a bad thing? LoL

I do have the habit of also turning on the television at dinner time as well for some reason and I have been known to also open up the newspaper at the same time..drives people crazy..they charge that there is not any possible way that I can be doing all at once..I disagree..LoL..because I do Read, Watch, Listen and Surf as I eat...

I eat at my PC only when i have to,like when i'm designing something and have nothing better to do. Other than that i prefer to eat out with friends...

I do it all the time. ^^ I have a nice and big desk with a lot of room leftover. I've been doing it ever since I got my ATI All-In-Wonder 7500 video card w/ tv tuner and also when I got my DVD±RW drive. I have a slide out keyboard so Idon't have to worry about crumbs in it.

LOL!!! I thought i was the only one doing this or maybe not the only but I started to think 4 the LUV OF GOD WHATS WRONG W/ THIS PIC!....uh get a life, yeah need 2 lately . H3LL it is my tv, my radio, my everything..kissy kis....*AHEM* .wait til the day, soon comin' for the freaks of us out there who know what I'm speakin', when we plug and play our precious "androids" into our USB ports or otherwise. Funny $H|+ oh well just blabbin'

Im either getting an ATI TVWonder drive for my comp, or getting an LCD tv/monitor to make it a tv.
Once that happends, Ill eat, sleep, and live here.

ok, ok, I only watch about 2 hrs or less of tv a day, but watever..ittl be cool..

During the day when I'm home working and the wife is away at her job I usually eat at the computer, unless I meet her for lunch in town. At night I have to wait until she goes to bed before it's safe to return for a few more hours. She thinks I spend too much time in front of the thing. (Never mind that it contributes the lion's share of our income. )

As a matter of fact..im eating right now..LoL
Pizza!! just one I threw together..not a real one..

I used one of the Boboli pizza crusts and threw in peppers, onions freshly made spicy italian sausage that I picked up from our local italian deli and cheeeeeeeeese, oh..and I cheated on the sauce..I used some marinara that we had left over from the other night when we had pasta..LoL...

Real or not..its good!!

I practically live with my laptop on my lap! I will admit that I eat my meals at the dinner table (because I have always insisted my sons do the same) but I will snack and dip into the wine at the computer. Computers have taken over my life. I am in the middle of progress report time and so I set up all my progress reports in my word processor program just so that I can stay closer to my computer! Sick? Yup! My friends just do not understand the fascination I find with computers!! They think I'm nuts. They may be right!!

Progress reports are much easier when sipping on wine. I'm hoping they get even easier once I finish the whole bottle!!

I'm soaking some Black eyed peas, and thawing out some salmon for tonight's CPU meal. Tossing back a Kirin Ichi Ban beer right now. Cheers, Donna. Or should I say "Kampai"? The salmon is going to be cooked in previously sauteed garlic, onions, olive oil and jalapenos. I'll add some soy and brown sugar at the end. I' getting hungry.

i eat at my desk when i dont cook a huge meal i clean my keyboard , moniter , tower every other day yes i clean it with a air can & i use q tip to clean the tight edges yeah im a clean freak but my comp looks brand new from the day i put it together which was last summer i dont smoke like most of yall who prob use your keyboard as an ashtray lol

I'll sometimes eat a cookie or maybe some chips at the PC, but I don't like getting grease or goo on my trackball, makes it stick. (I can usually tell when my 10 year old has been on, as the trackball will hardly move from whatever sticky stuff he leaves all over it.)

I usually have a beer while I'm at the PC, but I've gotten into a bad habit of setting my beer in front of the keyboard while I'm reading something, then I forget its there and knock it over in my lap. Dang, I hate to wast good beer that way.

tjesterb is enjoying a "Dog-in-Heat Wheat Ale at this very moment.......very careful not to spill any.
