Have you tried removing it in "Safe Mode"? To boot into safemode reboot and hold down the f8 key as soon as the boot process begins... choose safemode from the option screen that appears.. then uninstall the program...

I was going to suggest the "Zapper" at first but apparently it will not remove SDC...

Anyway... It is something you can try..I have never had to remove SDC but I have had other problematic programs that did not seem to want to be erased and thats how I managed to get rid of them..

Hope it works for you,
Zero.

Yea I've tried that and it still kept freezing, this is the first program thats done this. I wouldn't need to uninstall it but heh, I installed it on a friend's to test

EDIT: Ok I just tried it again and for some reason when I went into safe mode they gave me 3 different users with the 'Computer Admin' status so I chose one of the "new" ones instead of my own and it uninstalled..slowly but it did Thanks Zero for the tip

Rift11,

Have you tried running SDC, go to "Tools > Settings > deselect both "Enable MCP" options, click OK > unload all Stardock Programs > uninstall SDC.

If that fails, I would recommend going here Link and downloading the most recent SDC > return Windows to the default theme including all icons > install fresh SDC > reboot > then try uninstalling SDC.

Good luck.

No worries Corky I got it uninstalled via safe mode with another admin that I've never seenbefore, odd huh? Anyways everything seems to be uninstalled that was related to SDC but my desktop is gonna need some fixing before it looks "normal" again lol.

Again, Thanks!

I've Had The Same Problem Once or Twice Before. All I Did Was Cancel The Uninstall
Proccess, Go To Task Manager and Force SDMCP.exe To Quit. The Uninstall Works As
It Should After That ...
