Not exactly a new little proggie...dated 10/20/2004....but I just found it. Places an icon in your systray that you can click on and show up to five time zones. Comes preconfigured with a list of a whole bunch of cities, but you can create your own entries too.Link It's free, but only available to folks running genuine Microsoft Windows.

US Central Time Zone. Pretty sure they're based in Michigan.

Cool...another little toy!

I was running it yesterday after reading this thread and it was using over 4MB of RAM. Is that right? Seems extremely high for such a basic app.... I'm sure the same thing could be done using Desktop X at only a fraction of the memory.

Yarlen...never thought to look at that, since it is such a small app. It uses 5476K on my machine. That does seem quite a lot for something just sitting in the systray. Yeah it would be great if one of the DX folks would come up with something like this. Something that is at least as configurable, if not more, that you could show more than just five entries. I'm using it and I've got folks' names in place of a city name so I have an idea of what time of day they are in. Possibly add tempurate and weather too. Since its all text based the DX'er wouldn't have to do a whole with graphics. Maybe something like this....

If I was a better programmer and had time I'd give it a shot.
