Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!, Let see now:
1. Dems need to move more to the center, and stop using the Hollywood and music stars to push their ideals.
2. Put out a plan of attack that is outlined so that voters have a better ideal of what the Dems are going for. Don't put out a book like the one Kerry/Edwards put out that did nothing more that indicate what the problems are, but with nothing on how to fix those problems.
3. Get off this kick on we need to tax the upper middle class along with the rich and famous. Stop beating a dead Horse. The problem with this is some of the Dems/liberals who beat on this horse are richer than the average voter (Michael Moore, Alex Baldwin, etc.), thus the voter is some what confused as to why this rich person feels he/she needs to pay more taxes (they really don't - tax loops).
4. Stop saying we need to raise taxes. The people in this country are tried of the same B.S. Instead of saying we are going to raise taxes outline to the voters how we can better streamline the budget to maintain a level of spending that would help pull the nation out of the debt that we are presently in. It isn't paying the taxes so much as it is seeing the taxes go up, and nothing is being seen that is considered beneficial to the average tax payer/voter.
5. Try to come up with a plan of attack that would allow oil drilling to help ease the problems being brought on by the world oil problems (try to remember that there are other nations who use oil on as scale almost that of the U.S.). Be real about helping set up funding for new ideals in the area of energy (re-think the stand on Nuclear power plants).
Hopefully I can think of more as time goes by. Like this idea, and hopefully bloggers will use this forum to bring out some excellent ideals. And, being a woman I think it would be great to see Rice and H. Clinton go at it; it sure would be an interesting compaign.
