Friday night. Think I'll grab a bowl of "Oodles of Groovy Bits" for dinner and then toss back a Modello Negra. Maybe make something. maybe not. Long week. Definitely need my Groovy Bits to pick me up.

I'm going to have to say NO to animated avatars at WC.

Why? Because we have them at skinning.net and it really slows down the page load time. I would have to venture to say this site would become really slow for 56k users if they are aloowed no matter how small.

If you need proof that avatars slow down loading time of a page just visit Deviantart.

I'm on cable as well with a 4 meg connection and DA loads slow compared to many websites I visit.
