Fonts in Tabs

I'm not sure how to explain it so I posted a picture, but on some of the skins I use, when I have text in tabs, the entire text is not displayed, but other skins are fine. Is there a way to fix?

JeRrYFaR,

I am assuming the images are from a WindowBlind skin being applied to the explorer shell, instead of ObjectBar or another program.

I have not created a WindowBlinds skin yet (on my list this year), but I would venture to say that you are looking at the result of the text margins set for the tabs and the font style & size.

If you have SkinStudio, you should be able to open the skin for editing in SkinStudio and find the section that refers to text on these tabs - I can not tell exactly which part of the explorer shell is being shown, but you should be able to find the applicable section and change either the font size and/or the margins - and then save your changes.

I would recommend clarifying which part of the explorer shell we are seeing in the images - then someone with more experience in SkinStudio than I should be able to steer you in the right direction.

Corky O...you pretty much nailed it. Font size and margin settings for tabs in SKS will affect what JeRrYFaR is showing.

Thank you both.. that is what I was looking for..

I do have Skin Studio Professional, however I am not extremely familiar with the interface and how the program works. I have looked for the margin settings and whatnot and changed them, however each time they turn out to be the wrong settings..

If anyone has any further suggestions regarding Skin Studio Pro, that would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you for the tips!

Content Margins, and Fonts are all you should need to adjust. Leave the Sizing Margins as is.

Content Margins define the area that the text will occupy..

I just remembered how confusing all these settings can be, so thought I'd try to explain that one.
