My Toolbars?

What is this button for anyways? I think it's for changing the menubar (windows explorer) stuff, am I right? And if it is, why isn't it working for me?

Do you have the free or registered version?

Do you get any choices in "My Toolbars"?
Make sure under Basic Settings you have Toolbar Buttons checked.
After you choose a toolbar. Close IE and restart it.

If you are using FireFox, it doesn't change the buttons.

If you are using a different browser, keep checking back to see if anyone else has an answer.

darkhooda,

If you are using the free version, you will not be able to skin the toolbar icons in Windows and Internet Explorers.

There are also limitations such as not being able to skin non-theme aware programs, console windows, scroll bars, etc.

See the list here Link, which indicates the skinning capabilities of both the free and enhanced versions.

No it's full. I can skin the scrollbars and animations to DogmaX. Still doesn't work. I'm going to play around with the settnigs a bit. Can the cause be that I have a chinese version of Windows?

darkhooda,

I am not familiar with the Chinese version, are you using Windows XP?

I would think that if the button locations and sizes are the same in the default Windows theme as in the English version, then you should not have an issue based on that, but again I have never used the Chinese version.

If you go to "Configure WindowBlinds > My Toolbars", are the first two options selected - "Use the WindowBlinds colouring settings on these icons" and "Always use the toolbar icons defined in the current skin"? (these are the default settings).

If you select one of the toolbar icon themes, is there a preview in the upper portion of the window showing the toolbar icons?

My suggestion if the above is true, and the comment items by Bichur in #2 are true, and you can not get them to work - contact Stardock Support directly via e-mail Link to see if there are any known limitations using WindowBlinds in the Chinese version of Windows.

One question that has not been asked is - "Did you use the free version first, and then install the full version without first uninstalling the free version?

It is recommended that you uninstall the free versions before installing the full versions of Stardock products.

This may be to prevent the limitations of the free versions still applying, even though you have installed the full versions.

One thing about toolbars is you usually have to reboot the system before your new choice will be used.
(Just in case you hadn't)
