Does the file have a .zip extension? dogmax(1).zip or dogmax(1).wba.?

If it is a zip file, open windowblinds configuraion, select install skin from disc, find the file and click on it. After it is done installing, if the new skin isn't showing, just close and reopen windowblinds config, it will be there.

If it is a .wba extension, I am not sure what to say. If you recently upgraded from the freeware version of wb, uninstall the version you are running, REBOOT, then reinstall.

Dunno what else, any more info you can add?

wait a sec, just thought of something. if you have a file named dogmax(1) then that means you already have or had a file named dogmax for windows to rename it (1). Delete all the dogmax files you have. Do it through windows explorer, NOT WB config. Delete any DOGMA .zip files, and .wba files you find.

Close, go and redownload the skin fresh new and clean. WB skins cannot be renamed without using Skinstudio. When windowblinds renamed the file, it erased all the data.

Hope something here works.

Right click the download link and select 'save target as'... save it to your desktop (or a folder of your choice) ......

After downloading, double click the file and it should install the skin, if it doesn't install, or it open a folder with all the images, and config files, or anything of this sort, read the opening comment in this thread...... https://www.wincustomize.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=187&AID=66020

If none of this helps let us know, and we'll go from there.

In response to the first response when i click on the download button it was saving to the temp folder as a wba extension, i have always done it that way in the past, i have have tried your ideas but to no avail, but as advised in the second response when i rigt click and "save target as" then open the file it works fine? What has changed because in the past i have not done that before??
