HELP

I have been doing some work on my computer just trying a little of the win customization things and right once i got rid of logon and bootscreen I have been have some huge problems. Main problem is McAfee is not booting up properly and on top of that my Internet Explore wont let me redownload the McAfee software. I have ran about 5 different virus scans and they all come up clean. Also my taskbar is not working anymore.

Oh and one lasgt question after unistalling bootscreen the last boot screen i had is still showing up how can i get rid of this. Any solutions are much appreciated

Try reinstalling both programs, rebooting, set the bootscreen and logon screen back to the Windows XP default screens using the programs.

Reboot the machine, if all goes well, uninstall the programs.

Go to this link where I asked a question about how to uninstall my stardock programs properly. It has a link to a free program that will get rid of the stardock programs of your choice. You MIGHT be able to run this and get rid of logon and bootskin in order to fix your problem. Try it. I use the program all the time so its perfectly safe if used properly. good luck!
