I loathe you... you and your Git 'R Done t-shirt

I am intolerant of the intolerant

You people out there, with your Git R' Done t-shirts. You people out there who love to label someone as a queer or a nigger. I despise you. I despise you not for your hatred, but for your inability to see the good in people who are different from you. I hate that you can easily just brush someone off, label them some way, and talk about how such and such is bad but you do it just the same.

Intolerant. That's what you are. And your intolerancies make me intolerant of you.

Why does an Asian automatically become "Chinky", and why does that little black boy become "Home Boy" or "nigger"? These people are not worth less than you are. They just look different, sound different than you do.They have different beliefs. Does that automatically make a Muslim a "towel-head", or one of "Osama's buddies?" They are different from you. But they're still human.

And as a humanity, we must learn to respect each other. For if we do not, then how can we work with each other? And if we can not work with each other, then how can we succeed?

Just a thought,

I can see the irony here, but I don't think many people would. Sticks and stones. Making stereotypes for people who you think stereotype others is kind of self-defeating. Like labeling everyone with a Git R' Done t-shirt as racist.

It is a kind of truth, but one that reinforces reverse-bigotry more than it reveals it. At least I hope revealing this kind of knee-jerk hate was your intent.

What the hell does that have to do with Git R' Done?
A very funny comedy routine that has nothing to do with your basic statement.
I think you just used that to grab people's attention.
Of course, I do agree with your views on intolerance. Couldn't you have just gotten to that point without using a comedy catch phrase?

I think that BakerStreet is on to what you're trying to say.

Both sides of this arguement need to look and understand. It's not enough to yell about it.

Insightful, if maybe a little poorly written.
Peace,

It is true. However, because of BakerStreet's reply, I am realizing that I did not write this as well as I should have. This is supposed to be an irony, but it turned out to be rather... well, not like I intended.

Thank you for your comments. As I've said, I think this did not come off as ironic enough. I shall try harder next time.

Couldn't you have just gotten to that point without using a comedy catch phrase?

Would you have come and read this article if I had not?

Indeed. Unfortuantely, that's not something that will happen easily.

Thank you, I think. And God bless the Pygmies in New Guenia. Amen.

Ahhh, the if you listen to this comic, you're a redneck....and if you're a redneck you're automatically a racist bit. What a stand against bigotry.

Right.

Not being sardonic at all.

Yeah.

How can you call yourself a wordsmith?

Let's see you twist some linquistics and smoke up some verbs, or I'll stop you from dangling off my asshole like a dingleberry turd.
