Firefox doesn't make the cut

Gallery no longer highlighted

Well the experiment with Firefox skins (https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=38) finally came to an end.

We don't remove sections on WinCustomize.com but only the most popular sections remain highlighted. Last month, 0 new skins were submitted. In fact, it's been going on 2 months since there was a new Firefox skin put in.

This paves the way for Trillian and other galleries to get a shot.

Trillian skins maybe a little easier for people to create. Firefox had alot you had to do. I'll have to look up how to create a trillian skin to see how complex it is.

I'm sorry to everybody that I haven't gotten a chance to create more and update my current skin.

Oh well.

At lease I have enough FF skins to blend in with the WBs.

I still use your FF skin Sid, it's one of my personal favorites..

Unfortunately it's just an area that hasnt taken on all to much interest for whatever reason, it's too bad, but it is a logical decision.

Zero.

Thanks DZ

I just wish I could figure out how to make 3D gifs that move.

To me, skinning firefox is redundant. I think I am pretty representive of the average person that downloads Firefox skins. If anything, the skins I download are even more minimal and simplistic than the default.

Artistic skinners do often try to make things more efficient and compact, but with Firefox it is like splitting hairs.

I never load Firefox often enough to warrant it being skinned...

I never could figure out how to apply the skins, plus Mozilla has some great sites to get skins for firefox, so I think Wincustomize could use the space for something more popular.

Well I agree that Firefox was given a fair chance to stay on the front page. I was disappointed that it hadn't had any new skins for awhile. So far though I haven't seen a need or want to change skins very often with FF. And I tried a couple that were posted here and they gave me problems.
Regardless it would be nice to see Trillian given a shot. I don't change its skin hardly at all, but that is mainly for two reasons. One is I find it difficult to find new skins for it (don't like using deviantart) and two is the skins I do find I don't like.

At least Firefox was given a chance. That's fair enough.
