A couple more Theme Manager questions

1) I am having a problem with one particular skin being applied in a suite I made. The name of the skin is "Synthec". When I switch to this suite, the wallpaper and icons are changed, but not the actual skin. The skin in current use remains. This is the only suite I've made that does this. Any help as to how to correct this problem?

2) Wallpaper choices are limited to those files in "C:\Windows\Wallpaper" in Theme Manager. Is there a way to browse to other locations to change wallpaper?

THANKS

on:

1 - can't help or suggest - haven't learned to skin yet.

2 - suggestion - when I use theme mgr and go to wallpapers, it also picks up stuff from 'my pictures' = maybe put some copies in there.

The name of the skin is "Synthec"

Where did you get this skin, I searched WC and ThemeXP no match at either.

For wallpapers I put all mine in Windows\Web\Wallpaper. They will always show up in Theme Manager and Display Prop.
as this is WindowsXP folder for them.

Sorry... I misspelled the name of the skin. It is "Synthek" which you can find here: http://danillooc.wincustomize.com/viewskin.aspx?SID=2950&skinid=4742&libid=1&UID=1283096.

Thanks for the suggestion to move my Wallpapers images to C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper. But I would rather have them more accessible, such as C:\Wallpaper, which is where I have them now. It is much easier for me to find, test and change wallpapers in that location and likewise using the "Browse" in Display Properties. Perhaps the Stardock programmers will consider adding a "Browse" feature to this section of Theme Manager in the future?

If the skin applies using WindowBlinds, maybe something happened when you created suite, delete it and make again, if
skin will not apply with WB, try downloading again. I can't think of any reason why it would not apply other than it
is corrupted.
For easy access to wallpapers I sent folder to desktop (shortcut, right click on folder) then dragged it to quick launch, one click access.
