This just in: Pres. says sky is blue

This just in: Pres. Bush today announced that the sky is blue.

The Democratic response, led by COL Gene and several others was: NO IT IS NOT AND IT IS ALL BUSH's FAULT.

Just another thread and topic for the anti-Bushies to use to point out that anything that Pres. Bush says is inherently false, and of course to use the space to bash Bush administration policies regarding the environment, jobs, or anything else that can be blamed on President Bush.

We could add in some discussion about Tom Delay too, since it's easy to expect that he'll get targetted somewhere along the way. Of course we'll not here a peep about Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and a host of similar bad apples on the Democrat side of the equation. Those folks aren't in power, and what they do doesn't matter - even if what they do is nothing more than block any and all business in the Congress.

Anyway, I'm sure that having put forth the news that President Bush has said the sky is blue, we'll get back a ton of responses that say no it's not, it's really grey, or clear, or a detailed scientific explanation of how the sky isn't blue, but it appears that way....

without knowing where he was at the time, i'm willing to concede there's a 50% chance he's right--if there wasn't even the slightest trace of a smirk on his face while issuing his pronouncement. if he started smirking, caught himself and was able to repress it, make that 40%. hadda try several times to lose the smirk? 25% (the debate factor and un speeches come into play at this point).

smirkin like two skunks in a cabbage patch?

my money's on a fuschia sky.

Kingbee - was that look in response to the question "what do you think about Dabe's F*ck George Bush" thread? or perhaps "Should we pay any attention to what COL Gene says is wrong with your administration and your leadership?" or finally, "who the hell is this Kingbee guy?"

It could apply to any of the above really, couldn't it?

while it easily could apply to any and all questions asked of him, my guess is he was wondering if, when he said the sky was fuschia, someone was gonna ask him to spell the word...and in that case, was it fooshea or foushea? and where the hell are karl and jeff gannon when i need them dammit? they hadda be able to spell it to order those matching outfits they wear.
