Question about Dock And PSP7 and Coffecup

So I've had this for a few days. I love it. it's smooth and keeps things neat on my desktop.
i am however haveing trouble with two programs.... When ever i add Paint Shop Pro Seven or Coffe Cup HTML Editor I can't change anything, such as the icon or the text that appears above them, or the links won't work. At first i figured i'd just leave them be and move along, however even if i don't change anything the next time Object Dock Starts (When restarting my computer) the links don't work. I can't for the life of me figure this out, and i've been reading in this forum for what feels like hours, so i thought i'd ask.
cause other than those programs it works awsome.
I'm running Windows Xp btw.

How are you creating a new shortcut on the dock?

Right-click>Add>New Shortcut, or drag-n-drop from Start Menu>All Programs?

The traditional way of Right-click>Add>New Shortcut would be the preferred way for program executibles. Just create the new shortcut on the dock, then right-click the default "blue question mark" and select "Dock Entry Properties.." - this opens the dialog.

Use the "Browse" button under the link text line, and navigate to the executible file in "C:\Program Files" for the program shortcut you are trying to create. Use the "Title" text line to enter whatever text you want to show on mouse-over, then click "OK".

Note - if unsure of the correct program executible, you can right-click the shortcut listed in the "Start Menu>All Programs" - select "Properties", then copy and paste the address listed in "Target" text line into the "Link" text line in the "Dock Entry Properties" dialog (make sure to remove the " " symbols at the beginning and ending of the address.

Save your theme.

I hope this helps.

I was draging from the desktop. I'll try this. It seems to be working for Paint Shop Pro but i haven't restarted yet. Hopefully this will help.
and I appears the coffee cup error has nothing to do with ojbect dock...my computer seems to have lost it.......

thanks for your help.

Your problem could be caused by your computer shutting down before OD can finish saving it's settings. It happens to a lot of folks, and the developer has plans to correct the problem in the future. If Corky's method doesn't help, try unloading OD before your shut down/reboot, and see if that helps.
