Adding New Wallpaper to TM, do I need to chg frm .jpg to .bmp?

I'm not sure how to change file ext and I think I need to, or do I......Still struggling along, snails pace, but it's ok and fun.

Changing file extention form .jpg to .bmp will not help you much. The file extention is nothing but a idicator of what type of file it is. Jpegs and bmp files are two different formats and the data is stored differently.
You must open the jpeg in a graphics program and then "Save As..." .bmp . This will convert the file to the appropriate format.

Put wallpapers in Windows\Web\Wallpaper they will always show up in TM and display prop. TM tools, settings uncheck
extract wallpaper to TM dir. Unless you have top end LCD monitor leave wallpaper as .jpg. Much smaller file size than
.bmp, a 500kb jpg will be about 4.5 to 5.5 mb bmp, on normal monitor you cannot tell the diference.
