Bugs, I hate em!

Ok, this week was bug fix week for WC.  Most of my bug fixes were related to admin tools so not too many of my fixes will be noticed.  The rest of the crew worked on the more visible bugs so hopefully you have noticed some of thoe fixes already. But let me list some of the issues I worked on anyway:

  • WinCustomize browser was not getting data from the new server, needed to change a few configuration settings because 2003 server is locked down tighter than 2000.
  • Fixed author info link on skin moderation tool
  • Fixed page load errors with the view ratings tools
  • Fixed relogon bug with admin site
  • Working on new getting new ads for our sites
  • Added DirectX Specs for Stardock Central internals
  • Fixed inconsistency and duplication of Skin Moderation emails
  • Fixed KillCookies script
  • Fixed: Moderation queues between main site and admin site were out of sync.
  • Fixed watch list for WinCustomize Browser and Stardock Central
  • Fixed download problem on personal pages where the download page would just refresh if HTTP_REFERER was blank
  • Working on creating static data functions for base website library code
  • Replicated data from main database to article database so the articles database can be more independant

I am using the Stardock central Discussion board.
It is working like chain blue lightning.

Seems like script execution is more efficient, or you guys fixed some bottle-necks.

Improvements are always a good thing.

Thanks, T-Man.

Were you in the Discussion area?  Or were you using the Browser (IE) part?  You need to be in the discussion area for the Chameleon/Lizard Icon to show up.

OK here's a new one. A little over an hour ago I tried posting to Meowy's thread about XP home or Pro. When I submitted the post it sent me to a page with just the Original (Meowy's) post and a message saying "there are no comments at this time" even though the counteron the main forum page says 39, then 40, 41 and 42...... Now, each time I try to view the thread I get the same thing. Weird huh?

Same here. I can post to some threads but not see the comments. Where's the bug squasher?
I'm getting the same problem with meowy's thread as Lantec.

And of course the little envelops are acting up again.
