*Sigh* Another example of liberal tolerance

Pat Buchanan this time

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,152175,00.html

Pat Buchanan was the target of yet another compassionate liberal trying to deny him his day of free speech.  While I only agree with about 20% of what Buchanan says, I have never advocated shutting him up.

But like William Kriston just 2 days before, apparently free speech is only for the liberals.  All others apply at the back door.

washington post? you mean that LIBERAL crap spewing fact bending newspaper? and you use that as a "written in stone" source?

The same newspaper that has trashed my president and republicans over and over again with lies and half truths? that newspaper?

ok, you answered my question. Your just narrow minded. You remain a sheep and follow blindly not questioning anything. Are you trying to imply that Republicans don't lie? As a matter of fact, I initially read about this issue in the Philadelphia Inquirer, but I'm sure that one spews crap in your eyes.

And next time, post a link! We dont need to read through a liberal diatribe to get to the rest of the article. A synopsis and link works wonders

Wrong. Apprarently you have a reading problem.  That was not the author, just a very wise man.  You lose again.  you must be big in the democrat party!  They love losers!  The bigger the loser, the bigger the person!

Notice that he tried to change the subject?  Guess it must have been where I said that conservatives were always right.

Wait!  I did not say that!

Must have been where I said that threats to the president are not free speech.

Wait!  I did not say that as well!

Just a troll.  cant read, and apparently cant write!

Pat Buchanan is a durable politician because he has a back bone. With or without offense to friend or foe, you will know what Pat Buchanan thinks and I respect him for that. I have heard of several instances where PB was heckled off college speaking engagements. You need not agree with him, but being open and willing to listen is really how we learn about ourselves.

Notice that he answered Moderateman as if he was the author? You got to wonder if he/she can read!

I totally agree! I disagree with him a lot on Free Trade and Immigration (among others), yet I will listen to him. I may be saying in my mind {Pat! You got it wrong}, but even if I did not listen, I would not stop him from speaking.

Much as I agree that the Socialists try to stop anti-Socialist views with vilification, abuse, thuggery and loud mouths, the same can also be said about the ultra-Conservatives. When both sides come up against a viewpoint they do not like, their rhetoric and actions become vicious. The Fox report demonstrates a Socialist attitude. The vicious vilification of Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer demonstate the other end of the spectrum.

altho i generally like pat buchanan, it's really a shame someone with a camera didnt follow him home so we could see what his hair looks like after it's been washed and before he puts his regular brand of salad dressing on it.

as far as the presidential discussion groups go, dog bites man aint news. if there were anyone in attendance but shills, THAT would be a story.

oh...and the secret service guy was very likely agent jeff gannon.

Liberal or conservative, those who perpetrate violence are on the fringe. Civilization and freedom are tolerant of differing viewpoints. A closed mind never reaches its potential.

There is nothing right wing about the vilification of Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer.  It transcends a political ideology and goes to People for the Ethical threatment of People. period.

A simpler truth was never spoken.

"...conservative, those who perpetrate violence are on the fringe."

I could not differ with you more. Everyday the 'man' (the State), needlessly perpetuates violence upon its citizens. Everyday the 'man' falsely deprives citizens of their liberty; everyday the 'man' falsely incarcerates citizens; everyday the 'man' beats up black, brown, yellow, and red people, for no reason than being a minority. The ‘man’ brutally beats down minorities with his goon stick; everyday the ‘man’ sadistically sprays peeper gas into the faces of innocent minorities; every day the man unleashes his attack Shepard to maul minorities; everyday the black robe monster, who by definition disregard biblical admonitions against judging another, announces the ‘man’s’ judgment.

The 'man' executes innocent citizens; what's worse the man knows that his system is flawed; that it routinely results in executions of innocent citizens; but the 'man' comes up with a song and dance to rationalize, justify, a system that executes the innocent. Once one accepts that the system executes innocent people, then with one's next breath one ought to decry its end. Call it trolling, but you and I both know that the man is the most violent SOB out there. Beware of Big Brother. He's watching.

You are too young to have lived in the 70s, but what you describe is exactly what was rhetorically stated back then.  And was just as wrong as the ones doing all of that were not 'whitey', but the ones raging against 'whitey'.

You are too ignorant to see your own contradictions and stupidity.  You have no facts, no reasoning and no rationale.  You have only hate, and that will not get you far.  It would be best for you to learn and understand those you hate.  At the very least, you could then mount an intelligence response.  At the best, you would then understand your own hatred and bigottry and perhaps find ways to combat your own prejudice.

Somehow I doubt either will occur.

Hey Tarantula, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean everyone isn't out to get ya. They are. Watch your back.

In the future, be less abstract, as this drivel considerably lacks specificity.

You disparage me for contradictions and stupidity, for lacking facts and reasoning, without specifying precisely where I commit these transgressions. It is a fact that the 'man' executes innocent people, and cynically dismisses same as the cost of doing business, so to speak. This is simply disgraceful; yet curiously you resort to name calling when the fact the 'man' puts innocent citizens to death stubbornly persists; it will not go away, unless we rail against the machine. Wouldn't you agree, Dr. Guy? What I do is necessary.

Why would I bother watching my back when that way might result in missing out on a good wiping?

Gotta run, I think someone's here.

Cheers
