I have seen many thread here about galciv 2 and the sites poll is about galciv 2 but has there been any offical new on the front page of this site of something that they are even working on a galciv 2.

I haven't seen front page news about it, but over the nearly a year I've been here I've seen at least several posts from Frogboy about it on the forums including a planned sometime in 2005 release.

I read something official somewhere stating that stardock want to begin work on Gal Civ II in the near future. This isn't all just wishful thinking.

Found it, on the front page.

"Monday, May 03, 2004 - Stardock Game Relesae Schedule

Come July, we expect to begin preliminary work on two new games. One is an unannounced title which we'll announce this Summer and the other is Galactic Civilizations II which won't be ready until mid to late 2005."
