Help with "Change skin colour" feature

I just switched over to WindowBlinds (4.5 enhanced version) and trying to work my way through some of the various options it has. Right now I'm having trouble implementing the "Change skin colour" feature. The skin I'm working with, "Marina", specifically says you can use this feature with it. Simply put, after checking the box, "Enable custom colour support", choosing a color and refining it with the 3 sliders, I then click on "Apply changes" in the dialog box. Nothing happens. I then tried clicking on the "Apply changes" link in the main GUI, but again no change. I also tried reapplying the skin but same thing. So, what am I doing wrong?

Also..... is changing the skin colour, assuming I can get this to work, a permanent change; i.e., is there a way to revert back to the default/original color?

Thanks!

Sounds like you are doing everything correctly.
Do you have force the skin to have the colour even though...etc checked?

Were you running the freeware version before? If yes, did you uninstall the freeware version before installing the enhanced version?

You will not change the original skin by using coloring support. You can always change it back.

Not sure why it's not working...I haven't seen that skin before. :S Some skins support it better than others.

And yes it's quite easy to revert back to the original skin color...all you have to do is uncheck enable color support.

Thanks, you two for your comments.

Master Apprentice Night Train: Yes I was running the Freeware version and experienced the problem I think is going through your mind. I ended up uninstalling everything and reinstalling the Enhanced version and the extra options then worked.

I finally got this feature to work. The problem was with trying to change the color using his "White" shellstyle. When I used any of the non-white shellstyles, it worked fine.

Ms. Bebi Bulma: Thanks for affirming that simply unchecking the box and clicking on the apply changes will revert things back to the default. Now I can "play" with confidence.
