I am running the beta on an off the shelf Compaq Presario - AMD Sempron 3000, 512 megs RAM, on board graphics, XP Home SP2.

The game loads quickly and everything works as designed. The ship builder screen functions in all respects.

So far I haven't got a crash or error yet. I'm running:

P4 2.66 GHZ
512 MB Ram
Geforce 4 Ti 4200 with 8x AGP (latest drivers 71.84)
XP Pro SP2
Direct X 9.0c
On board VIA sound

I have played 3 short games thus far, but I probably will get a crash or bug sooner or later.

Yup, I shouldn't have spoke too soon. I played long games last night and I had several crashes. I tried getting all the research researched but couldn't because of CTD or other bugs.
