ABC news in an 'exclusive' story try to pawn off an obviously forged memo that purported to show the GOP talking points over the Schiavo issue. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Schiavo/story?id=600937

The problem is, Just like Dan Rather 6 months ago, it was a forgery.

Now this brings up 2 interesting lessons. 

First, for the people so inclined to believe that the Mainstream Media is not biased (or for the loony loopy luddite lefties that believe it is right wing), this clearly demonstrates that 2 of them are so anxious to get dirt on conservatives that they throw fact checking to the wind (this was an easy fact check that they could have verified in about 10 minutes).  And clearly to all except the loony loopy luddite left, it shows that they are indeed biased for liberals.

Second, it also goes to provide additional data for the contention that you cannot tell or teach liberals anything.  After the Rathergate fiasco, one would assume that those in a similar situation would be extra careful.  One would assume, and one would be wrong.  For that assumption contains sub assumptions.

1. That Liberals can learn from their mistakes

2. That liberals would listen to someone not a liberal.

Both of which are being shown to be patently wrong.

After being wrong for so many years on virtually every issue, that should have given people the clue that Liberals and MSM only glorify mistakes, and never admit them.

Sad in a way as all the carictures of Liberals are being PROVEN true.

Yup, yet another "memogate" is on the horizon. The loony thing about the last one is, not one "reporter" has taken up the challenge of actually investigating the origins of the last fake memo. Apparently there is a story in reporting fake memos, but no apparent interest in who is generating them.

Let's see, a memo with allegedly earthshattering information makes news, an equally earthshattering expose proves the memos to be fakes, yet those who created the fake memos (while commiting felonies) get to remain in anonymity...

And so called "reporters" expect us to consider them "professionals"???

It's getting to the point that the only thing a newspaper is good for, is lining the bottom of a birdcage. If I was a bird, I'd be offended. If I were PETA, I'd sue for the abuse by association!!!! ;~D

The way they got to the bottom of Watergate, Rathergate should be a piece of cake!

Which brings up another issue.  Where is PETA in the Terry Schiavo case?  Are we not animals?  That stinks to high heaven as well.

Now dabe, please stop trying to make them out for something they are not. They even say that they don't look at all sides:

I just got done reviewing the web site. I didn't see one liberal mistake in the media. Boy I guess the liberal media don't place any misinformation?

Anyhoo, is this the talking points Kingbee posted a couple of times? I wonder if this will be substantiated as much as the Rather thing, or if it will be eternally they said/we said, you did/did not.

Looking at the facts posted at the spectator, it looks pretty cut and dried considering the glaring inconsistancies in the memo itself.

Dont wonder.  They kill their own in that regard.  We can just wait and report.  Like I said, they still dont understand that the non-MSM media is more factual and truthful.  yea it has a lot of fluff, but then it has the truth most of the time as well!  You just have to look for it.  But then Google makes that easy!

And I think, by doing that, she's also silencing any reasonable liberals. Perhaps it's just me, but it seems that the kooky liberals are now the liberal majority here, and I think it's because if I was one of the decent ones, I'd want to avoid even being associated with the likes of them!
