Preorder: getting TotalGaming after?

Hi,

I got a Stardock account and I know it was worthwhile to me. I am now thinking about pre-ordering GalCiv since I'll buy it anyway. I don't really have access to a computer other than the library's very often, but still sometimes... Is there a way to get both GC2 NOW (even if I play only twice in months) and TotalGaming.net only from when GC2 comes out (so I don't lose X months when I am not really using it)?

Thanks,
FuzzyMatrix, presently on library comps

first few months of beta won't be much playing, more like crashing and cursing

I would say that now is probably the best time to get TotalGaming - if you're interested in the games currently available on it. That way you'll get all the current games now and forever, plus get 10 silver tokens to spend when Phase 2 starts up, plus the GalCiv 2 beta.

n that you get all these games cheaper on TG.net as on pre-order, while still being able to participate in the beta - if you're already pretty sure that you will be interested in GalCiv betas and expansion packs, TG.net is the best offer imo.

though it now (and has for some time) costs $60 for the upgrade, and $70 or $80 to buy it from scratch.

When does Phase 2 start? Is there an approximation?
Next month? In the next months? In about 3 months?

Unles I am mistaken, I think that the original poster was referring to the phase 2 of Totalgaming.net (when a token system is used) and not to beta 2 for Galciv II.

Yup. I wanted to know when was TotalGaming.net's phase 2

Late May is actually a safe bet for Phase 2 of TotalGaming, though there's the chance that it could be a little sooner.
