Please Help Me

Okay, well I wasn't born yesterday and I am pretty computer smart but I need a little help and it is going to sound really dumb when I ask.
Okay well today I downloaded some windowblinds skins for my computer and I have unzipped them but I don't know how to make them work. I mean I know how to go to properties and change the entire appearence of everything but when I do that the skins I have downloaded aren't there for me to choose from.
I am sure that I have made some tiny error that is quite laughable and if you could help me to find it that would be really helpful.

Do you have the program windowblinds installed on your computer?

Ummm..just a question..have you installed the "Windowblinds" program yet that is needed to run the windowblinds?

If so, check to see if the blinds you have DL'd are still in ZIp format..they need to be renamed .wba

Another thing is that windowblinds will not work properly if your desktop settings are set to "XP style" you will need to set your desktop properties to "Classic Style" to get the full effect from windowblinds..

No. I don't have that program from your mentioning it I assume that I need it. Where can I get it, and is it free. Also the skins that I have downloaded are titled legends and butterflies.

Click on the *Software tab at the top of this window..you can DL a shareware version of windowblinds..if you decide you like it, it is only $20 and well worth it!

and is it free

The shareware/trial version has no timeout, but does have a nag screen. Some things will not be skinned in the unregistered version.
