Some differences between me and LIBERALS

turn about is not fair play to a liberal

The liberals say I write inflammatory articles, yet they have no problem with coming into my site and calling me an asshole, jerk, fascist pig, murderer, and provocateur.

While I freely admit to making mistakes I have yet to see one liberal from the democratic party admit to making even one mistake, are they just that perfect or deluded to the extreme?

Funny how when a liberal is blasting someone it falls under free speech but when a moderate or conservative does the same its “attack politics” or just plain mean. How does that work?

I don't think there is anyone on this site that is lefter than I am. i hope you noticed lil Bro that I NEVER called you any of the names you referred to. Difference between me and a liberal is that I want to see positive changes in our society and the only way to do that is to get as many people to work with you on issues as possible.
Name calling only allienates and leads to nothing but bad feelings. This is not the road to positive change.
Liberals talk alot but in reality their actions are few. Mod.... dont confuse liberals with left wingers. Liberals are basically fence sitters that call names to folks on both sides of the fence.
Leftwingers are doers...not booers!

I think you are just running into some cultural differences.  In the US, leftwingers and liberals are fairly synonimous(sp).

But as for you being the leftiest?  no, not even close.  However you are one of the most diplomatic ones, and in that you hardly ever (ever?) resort to name calling.

You don't know me tnen Doc...look up some of my earlier blogs...they speak for themselves

you hardly ever (ever?) resort to name calling.

Like I said, name calling only allienates and creates enemies...that's not the name of my game. The only people I have ever attacked on this site in any way are those that attacked me personally for no good reason whatsoever. Those particular individuals I can never see working with to better society as we definitely have different agendas and different values...
But, as always Doc, thanks for your kind words.

Dear MODERATE MAN,

First off i would like to compliment you on being able to admit your mistakes you have made in the past, and i highly respect that. Next I would like to make my own comments and answer some of the questions you had on your article. First, I make mistakes just like every other human being and I do admit to them, but i find your statement on liberals never confessing to mistakes completely inaccurate. In fact it seems to be the right wingers that tend to cover up their mistakes. For example, im sure you remember back in the 2000 election how George W. Bush was apperently an alchoholic back in the 70's, and at first he denied it, but once his 1978 arrest record went public, he admitted to it. Even further he has denied ever using narcotics, but month ago, secret tapes were released by a documetor with him saying,"I don't want the American Public to know about my marijuana use, because i dont want kids saying 'President Bush smoked pot so why can't I?' " Next, you made the statement "Funny how when a liberal is blasting someone it falls under free speech but when a moderate or conservative does the same its “attack politics” or just plain mean. How does that work?" and I'll tell you how it works. Around mid 2004, president Bush released TV ads talking about how John Kerry didnt really deserve his purple heart, and that he just shot himself in the leg to get it. That's just not even true #1, and #2 even if it was, it wouldnt affect how he would run the country. When a liberal puts out a degrading ad, its about mistakes Bush actually made in his presidency, such as how we went to the Iraq war for the wrong reason. Back in late 2002, the president said he would only go to war in Iraq if Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. When UN and U.S. inspectors went to Iraq, they found no weapons of mass destruction, yet we still went to war in Iraq. To answer your questions, when democrats attack, they attack on the actual mistakes a republican has made as a president, and when republicans attack, they simply lash out on a democrat's past personal life, that may not even be true. In conclusion, I hope you can understand the truth of politics and search for yourself what you believe in and what you dont, since Broadcasting companies(such as Fox News) are just plain bias, try watching CNN or MSNBC for the strait truth on things, and you may change what you believe.
Sincerely,
Shane C.

Mano, I have read most all of your blogs, and you are left or liberal.  But I put you right of Dabe, Wise Fawn and even Myrrander.  And definitely in the sane left wing, not the loony left.  I dont question your leftiness, just the degree.

You are wrong on both accounts.  he never denied them, he refused to discuss them.  If refusing to discuss them is denial, then you got more problems than understanding admitting mistakes.

No, that was not Bush or the republicans.  Again you are in error.  That was the Swift Boat vets.  You do have an identification problem dont you.

appreciate your comments, but as you can see your own comments wuickly degenerated into pointing out wrongs with someone else {the republicans}

agreed, I don't know wisefawn. and myrr can be reasoned with he is a wise fellow with a kind heart under that gruff exterior, dabe, well dabe is dabe and that's all I will say on that subject.

It works in the same way that North Korea and its declared threatened-to-use-them-on-the-US nuclear arsenal is what Bush calls a 'diplomatic issue' whereas Iraq, which posed no threat whatsoever and even went as far as giving the US a 10,000 page document containing it's weapons capabilities proving they have no WMD, are a direct scary threat. By the way you shouldn't insult "liberals". It's obvious you have a deep mundane need for them since you frequently refer to them in relation to yourself. Tell you what: be a man and not a label. Dislike people and not the label. And realize they're all together going in the same direction. It's stupid to think anything would change no matter what party was in the White House. It's not personal. It's business. And before you say something dumb about the 10,000 page report, remember it's a fact the Bush Admin EDITED THOUSANDS OF PAGES WHICH WERE NEVER RELEASED.

I did not say any of them could not be reasoned with (well, I will make an exception with Wise Fawn), just that they are more liberal

you could have used the famous "wheres the wmd's" instead of that long boring blather.

And we should have taken the word of an evil dictator saddam that he posed no threat? bwahahahahazhahaha

Thanks. It means a lot to hear that from you. I try to think things over and am not bound by my own ideology. If what the Republicans are proposing makes sense, why would I not agree with them?

Wanna bet? I'm pretty sure I am. Let's settle this Zell Miller style. Pistols at dawn? Or Political Compass at high noon?

Do you even know the truth? Is the truth always smack dab in the middle? Is it possible that all media is just WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY out there? How can you say that Fox has the closest to the truth when you don't know who is telling the truth? Does all media have moderate media bias? Dems, Republicans, left and right have their own media sources. Is there any socialist media outlet for me? Or libertarian for some of our resident libertarians?
