object icons vanishing

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed the objectdock on my computer, it's windows xp. and it loads and everythin but when i moved the cursor over it the icons dissapear an move into invisibility. It's not jerky or bumpy or anything. they just start vanishing on one side. when i move the cursor oaway from the object dock they all jump back. it does that always.

i uninstalled it and downloaded it again, with exactly the same result.

i installed it at work on an windows 2000 machine and there it works just fine.

i also tried looking all over the site but can't find any info.

any ideas are really welcome,
