Al-Qaida may be turning sights on charter aircraft

WASHINGTON - The nation’s aviation system remains vulnerable to attacks by al-Qaida and other terrorists who may be targeting noncommercial aircraft and helicopters, according to a government report.
But officials said the report by the Homeland Security Department and the FBI concludes that commercial airlines also remain susceptible to attack, despite billions of dollars worth of security investments. Moreover, members of al-Qaida are believed to be examining and testing U.S. security systems for weaknesses, officials said.

Uh oh. More stuff that must be Bush's fault. Get those Impeachment hearings ready.

I wonder if we'll be blaming the low numbers of flights covered with air marshalls, ooops, I mean pretty boys in suits that stand out like flashing neon signs so they can be easily identified to know which flights are covered and which aren't, on Bush also. (See recent news reports, or prior articles on that issue).

The world isn't safe, and it's all Bush's fault. Blame, blame, blame. Oh, yeah, let me put in the obligatory demand that we raise more taxes so that we can throw more money at these problems where it can be wasted, rather than spent on actual needs. Don't want to forget that important nugget.
