Sinclair Broadcasting owns the most TV stations in the USA. Read up on them and talk some more about the "liberal" media. These guys make Fox look like Mother Jones.

Sinclair owns many local affiliates, especially in smaller markets. My two local NBC affiliates out of Springfield and Champaign (IL) are such examples. And believe it or not, Brian Williams still appears on the NBC Nightly News. Not only that, we get Dan Rather on CBS and Peter Jennings on ABC too. We get CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. We get two PBS stations. We get WGN News. We get the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The LA Times, you name it.

Sinclair's ownership doesn't really mean much if the producers, editors, and journalists don't share their beliefs.

Many reporters voting for Demcorats does not prove that the media has a liberal bias. What goes on the news or is printed is decided by editors and executives who are ususally conservative. This does not mean that the conservative executives always force their opinions by slanting the news they broadcast; rather it shows that if there is any bias in the news, its is caused by the executives, not the reporters.
