Sick and Hating It!

Over the past couple days I haven't been feeling right and when I woke up this morning, it all made sense. I caught one helluva cold! My head is stuffed, my throat is sore, and gobs of snot are spewing from my nose. Even the glands on the back of my neck are swollen. I decided to be a trooper and go to work, but that was even useless. They sent me home! Now I'm back at the apartment going stir crazy. I should go back to bed, but I feel like I must do something....hence why I wrote the blog. Oh well....mabe I'll go watch the end of The Price Is Right.

I hate being sick! I hope I feel better and can go back to work tomorrow!

sorry to hear you are sick . Use this "free" day to get better and to relax....I have an itchy throat myself and some coughing...but no chance of anyone sending me home....oh well...back to work! (I'm lucky I have a few minutes free right now lol)

Thanks...hopefully I will be all better after taking some medicine today, I just hope it doesn't get worse because I don't know the first thing about finding a doctor out here! hehe. I'm sure I'll manage. I hope aren't getting sick!!

I just got over being sick, so I hear you. Have you tried having a Lord of the Rings extended version marathon? It takes about 13 hours with breaks, and it will defiitely pass the time... or maybe I'm the only dork who likes to do stuff like that...

Alison, feel better soon. Drink lots of liquid. Heck, have a hot toddy, in fact, make it anything with rum or vodka, that will make you sleep away the night!
