Invisible Text

Now you see it, now you don't...

Hi

I am running WindowsBlinds 4.51. I have a problem with 'invisible' text on some Windows dialog boxes and web pages. This effect occurs with GT3, which I really like, and to a lesser extent under Blackcomb, where some text is barely visible.

An example of this (using GT3) is the following web page:

http://www.bcentral.co.uk/issues/technology/howtoguides/default.mspx

which is Microsoft's BCentral 'How to...' guides page. None of the titles of the documents are visible. All I can see is the download link for each guide. If I click and drag the mouse over the page, thereby selecting the page, each guide's title and description becomes visible.

As for this one:

http://www.vhcomputers.com/tech.html

All I can see is Turbo Tech Computers, a tel. number, Technical Help and some icons! The rest of the page is filled with invisible text which I can only see if I select it.

Anyone know how to solve this problem? Is there a setting I need to change? I have Windows XP Pro SP2, 1.5GB RAM, GB's free disk space, P4 2.8 chip, ATI 256MB 9600XT graphics card. The card has the latest drivers and version of catalyst.

TIA

GT3 has a cool feature built into it. Its a substyle changer for problems like what you are experiencing. In the upper left corner of the window frames when using GT3 is a button that will auto switch you to the lighter substyle. You should be able to see everything after that. Hope it helps.

Sweet as a nut!!!! Many thanks. I had used the changer before, but did not realise it would enable me to see text.
