Add Shutdown item

add windows shutdown item to objectdock

Hi,

I want to blitz the startbar completely but the shutdown icon does not seem to be available to add to any of my custom docks (or I am too stupid to figure it out). Thus I always need to the startbar in order to shutdown. Anyone know how I can add the shutdown icon (using windows XP) to a docklet?

um download a script pack from the objectdock section - i dont know the name but i know that you can find it in the docklets area - just make a shortcut to the various scripts and place them in the dock (shutdown works very well as it just activates the existing shutdown sequence that is in the operating system . i hope i helped

aha found where the scripts were - they are meant for kkmenu but they can work on their own without all you have to do is make shortcuts to them heres the link - Link

im pretty sure this is the better solution to your problem that an actual docklet because i downloaded the docklet above at first but it was a bit slow (as in it was less conveniant) i also think that the best icons to use with this script are these - Link

that looks cool but i personally wouldnt trust a third party program - but hell i downloaded it anyway and then uninstalled it because it was pointless as the shutdown button i use is quicker
