Altarian Prophecy CTD

Hi, I am a Drengin.net user and have had the Altarian Prophecy beta since it first came out, but on the first day, I was playing, it ctd and now whenever i go into the game, and click on start a new game, it ALWAYS crashes straight out with no messages or anything. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if they could provide a fix. I have reinstalled GC and AP, but it has not helped. Thanks for anything you can tell me.

Brian, can you please send me your debug.err file? Also, please install SmartException from Stardock Central (it's under the free stuff tab) and run it. The next time that Gal Civ crashes, it should create a log file named GalCiv.exe.cra.
