It's a girl!

Hello all~

We had our ultrasound today, and the baby looks great! We not only found out that we are having a girl, but a healthy girl!!!!

My quad screen came back great, the tech said I got an A++, no sign of any defects. All the organs look wonderful and the heart is strong.

The baby weighs about 13 ounces right now, and is right on track for size and weight. As for me I gained 4 more pounds since last visit to bring me up to 12 pounds so far, so I am gaining weight well. My belly is also 7 cm bigger than last dr. visit, so all is good!

So happy for you! Have you picked out any names yet? I have a friend who just had a baby girl and named her Simone Patrice. I thought that was really pretty.

Congrats!!!! We're in the same boat. We found out on Dec.21 that we're having a girl as well. After 2 boys, this will be a welcome change. We're naming her Emily. What's your name choices?

I am at almost 22 weeks. She is due July 15th. I think we might name her Jayna, but we also like the name Jaylynn.

Jayna is very pretty also - but I like Jaylynn it's the perfect amalgamation of both your names.

Jaylynn is nice. That name is very popular here in Fl for both sexes. I know a few boys in my complex with the name Jailin or Jaylen. The difference is in the spelling!
