Ever since Michael has become an aware little being…he has been extremely interested in my broom and dust pan. When I use ‘em I have to do it quickly before he gets a hold of them and gets all oogey (oogey is a favorite word of mine. It means dirty, gross, slimy, bacteria-infested, etc.).
Several months ago I noticed a cute little broom set at Toys ‘R’ Us that’s just Michael’s size. I refrained from buying it until recently, because I wasn’t sure it was entirely necessary. But I’m glad I got it for him. He loves it. No only does he sweep with it, he eats it, he hits things with it, and he cries when I take it away. Ahh, the ups and downs of mommyhood.
