MV syndication in GC2?

Question for Pat (or whoever else would know):
Are there any plans to provide an easily machine readable metaverse syndication system for GC2?
I'm looking at adding some statbot-like capabilities to the upcoming v2 Jedi Republic site, and this was one feature that was wanted in GC1, but unfortunately it didn't arise until after retail and the MV budget didn't allow for it. If we can get such a system that publishes MV data every 6 or 12 hours to XML files or some other easily readable format, then the various empires and fansites could easily display certain MV data or perform calculations on it (without needing to the great lengths that the GC1 statbot does, IIRC, needing to parse through all the various pages of the meta and strip the data out).
Plus, if there was a system like that it could also be used for an in-game meta viewer (though more likely it'd be the other way around... make a syndication system for the game to use, and make it available for other web sites as well).
Just some thoughts, and hopefully something that would be very helpful to the empire webmasters such as myself
