Finding Planets by Class

This may have already been discussed, but will GC2 have a search feature to find planets by class? Clicking on every uncolonized planet, especially late in the game, to find out its rating is a bit tiresome. Could the game "remember" which systems we've scouted and focus on planets that meet certain criteria when we want to go back and colonize them later?

A Planet "search" feature would be wonderful.

Same for ships, etc.

That's a good idea. I think MOO3 had that in it. Actually MOO2 did as well even though I didn't really use it. It is a good idea but would you actually use it?

In GC1 I really missed that feature, mostly bin trying to search for class 14 planets worth colonising, mid game. So gets my vote, but the useful searches might depend on the new gameplay features.

I mean with the new user interface however, wouldn't it be possible to show the class in smaller font on the upper right hand side of the planet, on the main map?

new planet features would change this need or perhaps render it moot. I would appreciate any streamlining of the click-click-click-click-click process. I'm glad others have thought of this, too.

It was in GC1, so I'm sure it will either be included or the need for it alleviated in GC2.

Do you mean finding planet by class in your empire or searching uncolonizde PQ 14 planets in the known galaxy?

list all those unclaimed worlds by class (usable tile count), and maybe by whose influence it is under.

well looking for good planets is easyer now as there are rings representing the planets if you zoom all the way out the best are white dots more rings = better world

Still some sort of planet list with sort and filter options would be a greate plus. This and a colony managing list will be the two first on my mod-to-do list if not included in the game. Provided we will be able to make that kind of mods, that is.

Unfortunately this stops once out get to quality 10. Any thing above all looks the same. Still, I supose they are all good above 10, but it would still be nice to be able to see a difference between a class 18 and a class 12 sitting right next to each other

Don't worry, we will be making a planet list.
