Don't want window to overlap

Hi!

New to this whole stardock thing. I'm playing with objectdock and desktopx. The thing I haven't been able to do is make it so that a window doesn't overlap either the tabbed dock at the top of the screen or the dock at the bottom. I'd like to have it so the window borders both. Is there a way to do this?

I hope my explaination was clear enough.

DX has an option to set a 'workarea'. You can define the boundaries of the screen. I haven't used that feature in a while, but that's what it does.
