Split Up Tabs and Dock

Tabs on Top, Dock on Bottom

Hi guys.

Just wondering if its possible to have the tabs for your docks on, say, the top of your screen whereas the actual dock is on the bottom. Just want to do that so I can use the crystal tray dock backgroundwithout having tabs floating above it. This is probably not possible but its worth a try.

If you're asking if you can seperate the tabs from a tabbed dock, the answer is no. An interesting idea though.......... not sure I would find it useful, but it is interesting.

darn. I guess I'll either have to get rid of my tabs or just live with them floating above the crystal tray.

Mouse to top of screen to select tab, mouse to bottom of screen to select app?

I can't see how that would be at all useful ?

I haven't used that particular background so not sure what you mean by 'floating above'...

Are you saying the tabs don't match the background properly? Well, there's a nice Sunday afternoon project for you then (creating matching tabs)

A-ha! Crystal Tray https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=29&view=1&sortby=4&sortdir=DESC&p=1&advanced=0&searchtxt=crystal%20tray is not a tabbed dock, so the default tabs are used, and they do "float" above the dock............ which gives koa an idea!
