I need help

Does anyone know what can change the shell32.dll? When I ran my virus scan today it said that my shell32.dll was changed. It is not a virus and I do not see any performance difference. I just don;t know what changed it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey Cindi ..a shell32.dll is part of your windows system 32 files if I can remember. If you are not experiencing any problems my advice would be to just not worry about it. Sometimes an anti-virus will misevaluate. It could be just nothing. Hope this helped.

I haven't either. I looked and I have the same thing, except the date of mine is from august. I just did all those windows updates the other day. I don't know what the deal is. Anyway, maybe someone who reads this will know. It is kinda weird. Thanks alot for responding. Have a great evening.
