Aerobics Instructors
Never Say, "I could do better than that," without trying it first...

OK, so I went to aerobics this morning. It sucked. The instructor didn't know what she was doing, so I bailed out and did some crunches.
I don't hold anything against her though. I've tried my hand at teaching aerobics before. It's not as easy as it looks when you're the one up there. I knew this though. I first gave it a whirl when I was 19. I took some horrendously expensive training classes...then my recruiter told me that it was time to ship off to army boot camp. Oh well. My aerobics dreams were put on hold.
Then I tried it shortly after giving birth to Michael...in 2003. It felt so good to get that parasitic basketball out of my belly...I felt like I could conquer the world after I gave birth to him. I actually led a whole warm up, and taught some aerobic intervals. Then I got a panic attack (boo-hoo, poor me. loser.), and haven't gone back since. Not as an instructor anyway. But recently I took one of Doris' classes, and she remembered me (so flattering)! And said she still has my training certificate, and needs to give it to me. So at least I've got that.
Anyway, that's not why I sat down to blog today. My mind wandered. Now I'll have to start a new topic....
