Having trouble changing Icons

Every time I try to either change icons with iconpackager or the windows blinds, it never works. For iconpackager it says something about how the default windows XP icons cannot be changed.. anyone know how to change that?

First.... you can't change icons with WindowBlinds, and I can't figured out how you're even attempting it...

The IconPackager warning is referring to the default icon for the "Classic Start Panel". Those can't be changed, but I doubt you're using the Classic, not many people do, because it's not very attractive.

Im refering to iconpackager, and I am not using classic start pannel, the windows blinds comment was somethign seperate.. should have reworded it. Ive tried using an alternative appearance and it doesnt seem to change much of anything. Still getting the error

Not sure what you mean by that. Are we talking about WindowBlinds now?

What exactly does the error message say? We'll be glad to help, but you have to be clear.

I haven't seen the IP message about default icons for quite a while, but if you'll read it carefully, I think it says the default icons for the Classic menu can't be changed. If you click OK, everything should be fine.

Not getting the error any more.. Now its just that when I use the .ip files it wont change anything or appear in the list so I wind up having to manually apply all of them.. takes forever
