Standing Stone

I guess you could call this poem my personal legacy....I decided to be a bit egotistical and describe what I am like, a bit...well, I hope someone agrees or I'll feel like an ass. :D

I am a stone, standing tall and proud,
I am a pillar of strength and security,
Here to keep you from danger, and to ease your troubled mind.

Seek me out from where I dwell,
I shall help you in your darkest hour,
Search for me, I shall quell your strife.

Stand next to me when you are afraid,
For I can bring you safety and courage.
I will advise you,
Protect you,
Help you.

I am a standing stone,
Strong and resistant,
Wise and intelligent,
No need to worry,
I have no bias towards you, for I understand,
I will not turn you away,


Open up and I will shelter you,
From the sorrows you bear,
Speak to me and I shall listen,
You needn’t be alone,
And live in sadness,
You have one who won’t let you down,
To confide in,
To cry to,
To trust,
You have a friend,

Not a problem...I suppose that's what I'm here for...helping people, I don't know why...I don't take kindly to many of the human race, but when I do I can't help but help them out, ya know? Well, I'm still going for zoology....so, no human resource crap for me:D

But......"Just call on me brother, if you need a hand. We all need somebody to lean on. You just might have a problem that I understand..."
