"Squishers"?
We've done Zoomers

Hey gang,
I'm a TOTAL noob here but had an idea - maybe someone has already done this. With all these cool orbs and glassy looking buttons and icons, I thought it might be cool if the objects animated in a way that matched how they looked. I wonder if these glossy objects could be "squishy" and move when you touched them, like they were made of gelatin. I whipped up a test animation in Bryce - It's an invisible metaball inside a blue one. I just moved the inner metaball up and down. People more clever than me could probably actually deform the object properly. I've had Bryce for about 2 hours... maybe I'll figure it out. Here is a sample I whipped up;

What do you guys think? If you mapped a logo inside the object you could make Icons and Buttons that would deform and squish!
