Suites won't install on WindowBlinds

Hey, I'm new at all of this, I just found this site yesterday. So I have Theme Manager and WindowBlinds. I have downloaded a few suites. When I open up WindowBlinds and put the suite on the list, I click apply, and it asks me if I would like to apply the theme, and then a window pops up and says it's downloading the files, something or other, and then the box closes. And nothing happens. When I click apply again, it goes through the same thing, and then the entire window closes and it's docked in my system tray. So how do I install suites at all? It's really irritating how I don't understand this. Someone help me out, thanks.

I have the same problem. Whilst WindowBlinds can apply skins fine, ThemeManager does not appear to be applying suites even though it appears to go through the motions of downloading the relevant 'suite' files.
I'd be interested to know a solution to this also.

First you will need all of the programs that are required for a "suite" - it would just be a WindowBlind if that is all you have installed.

I would try to load a suite that came packaged with Theme Manager (I believe "Gemini" or "Pix Office" both do) while disconnected from the internet feed. This will tell you whether or not the issue is local (software or machine).

You can alternatively go to the search function here at WC, select "Gallery" and enter the name of the suite and you should get a page displaying all the component parts if they have been uploaded seperately. Then download those parts, apply them, and save as theme with Theme Manager.

I use version 2.19.003, and have no issues with the prepackaged themes or some of the purchased suites I own.

I too have that problem it says downloading file 1/7 or wotever, but the progress bar does not show any progress, then it goes 2/7 then 3/7 etc. with no progress change, then it closes after 7/7. If anyone has a solution to this problem, i'd be very grateful

*Edit* Oh, and i have all the programs that it needs, this is not the problem.

Make sure you have the absolutely newest version of Theme Manager installed.

Most links to older suites were broken in older versions of Theme Manager, since the launch of the new Wincustomize site. However, this problem should have been fixed in the newest build of Theme Manager.

If you are a Object Desktop Customer, upgrade your Theme Manager through Stardcok Central. If you use the free version, download and install the newest version from the Stardock Website.
