ODImg.dll not found (TGA and PNG images will not be loaded)

I get this message at startup of Object Dock

I had to uninstall and re-install Object Dock Plus and now I'm getting this message. Can I download this file somewhere and/or is something going wrong with the installation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

uninstall OD+, install ODfree - see if it works

if it works, copy the ODImg.dll from the folder, uninstall ODfree, reinstall OD+, move copied dll into the folder

FYI: The missing ODImg.dll is in fact a problem with your installation. But good news, the next release of ObjectDock will rid use of it My only concern, I'm not postitive that that file being missing isn't an indication of other more sneaky installation problems. But I guess we'll find out.

I have the same problem. Here were my steps of installation (Vista Ultimate)

ObjectDock Free 1.9 was installed first
Installed Stardock Central
Input my serial number for OD+
Installed OD+ 1.9 from Stardock Central
Thangs ran fine until reboot, after reboot ObjectDock.exe was missing (strange)
From StarDock Central it said that OD+ 1.9 was availble and installed it.
Since the reinstallation I get the ODImg.dll error

you don't mention uninstalling it prior to installing plus

until reply #5 happens, try:

uninstall +
reinstall free = check it make sure it works after reboot
if so, copy the ODImg.dll from the folder (C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock), uninstall ODfree, reinstall OD+, move copied dll into the OD+ folder

I had this problem recently with the free version of ObjectDock on a new Vista computer. I found that the problem was that Data Execution Prevention was blocking the ODimg.dll from loading. So, I added it to the list of exceptions using these steps:

  1. Go to control panel and open System.
  2. Click on Advanced Settings.
  3. Click on the Advanced Tab and the first Settings button called "Settings..."
  4. Click on Data Execution Prevention
  5. Click on Add...
  6. Browse to C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock and select ObjectDock.exe
  7. Click on Open and then Click on Ok and Click on Ok.
  8. Restart ObjectDock and the error should be gone.
