Just a quicky to recognise the achievement of Ellen Macarthur who just broke the record for sailing around the World single handed.

71 Days, 14hrs, 18mins and 33s.

It has been an incredible thing to follow. She is very proudmaking.

Remarkable. As my dear old Dad and I sat down to dinner tonight we both stopped natterring and fightting about Pres. Bush misdeeds and budget cuts and agreed that at least someone was accomplishing something.
